ARCTIC FEVER
What is it calls a man away
From all he holds most dear at home,
And beckoning with an icy hand
Lures him into this Frozen Land
And brands him as it's own?
'Tis called a cursed charm.
One says "A Glamour of the North,"
Another, "A lust for fame."
But these are by these who werd never alone
Nor ventured outside of the temperate (fireside?) zone.
But I am up here and can see and can hear,
And feel this subtle charm.
