War Department, Adjutant General's Office, Washington, D. C. Sept 3.90 1873 Isaac Fitcher (colored) Care of Postmaster Berlin, Corcester Do. Mae. In answer to your letter of June H. 1873, I have to inform you that your claim for arreas of pay on account of your deceased don, Henry massey, Cate of C.A, 9th U.S.C.D., is shown by the records of the Cate Freedmens Bureau to have been settled by Beasury Certificate no 3.85.124 for $32.32 and the amount (less $5.00 attorneys fees) foaid to you March 30. 1872 through Luch E. @ knower, then agent of daid Bureau ah Baltimore Ma, who under date of March 29. 1873 forwarded the amount to you, for apress, ah Merchantevillo Camden Do r. I. your claims for bounty on account of said don was dettled by Treasury certificate no 590.974 for $100 and the amount ( less $1000 attorneys fees / has been dent to dient James Curry 5th articlery, disbursing officer at Fortress Menroe
