Disbursing Office, Freedmen's Branch, A. G. O., Trew Orleans Sw. March 6.1875 Adjutient General. U. S.Army Washington D.b. Sir: I have the honor to submit ihe caselo of John Thomas late for b. K. Treas, beilf no 61% 44111 issued in his favor, to the Frandmens Branch A.G.O. and ask for information and instructions en regard to said case. The man who makes affidavit as fing John Thomas Ne2, was browght to my office by d.b. Mathews (whose affidavit is enclosed) und who states that Trwas, beilf no 61440 for 225. 80/199, was intended for Hee man presented by him. (see affidavit) he having made his application Through Mi Allister at Hashington. It will be noticed that Her man calls himself John Thomas now, bapt Keeling and Gob Mudgett
