I enclose herewith for delivery
to the soldier on proper identification the
discharge. certificate of Daniel Smith Cato
1st Sgt. Co B. 812ᵗ u S. @. I: the same having
been transferred to this office by the Cate
Freedmens Buseau, to which it was forwarded
by the Second audition of the Treasury under
date of January 28. 1870, the doldier's claim
for founty having been disallowed by the
Auditor because of his having been previously
paid $200. - per and 2. instalments under
the Rch of July H. 1864 - being all to which
