Twould respectfully state that I am the
svidow Maria Bell, wife of James T. Bell Declared
late Tris. Co.G. 9 the Reg. u.s. avaloy/Regulars)
Imade application March 6th 1845 through Richard
Mc Allister of Washington D.C., my Attorney, for Money
due my deceased husband.
On or about June 20 "1875 y was notified through
my Attorney that my claim was allowed by Certificate
No. 621.936 for $ 48 40/100 for services from the 1 of
July 1874, when paid, to the 21 ot Septh 1874 time of
Burs.ingsist
death,
I have also been informed by my Attorney that the
check would be sent to me direct, or would be load to me
by the Disburing Officer at New Orleans Sa.
y have received nothing, nor has the Disbursing of
ficer received anything for me.
I would respectfully request to be informed in which
way y can obtain my money.
My Post Office Adress is at Present No Over 4 4
