Letter from Oliver Johnson, Clifton Springs, [N.Y.], to Samuel May, Sept. 17, 1887
Johnson is sorry to hear that Mrs. May is so feeble. He discusses his own health and informs May that he cannot make a second public address on the early history of the anti-slavery movement. Johnson says he is very pleased by the vindication of Henry Villard. He discusses the Presidential election of Grover Cleveland.
