My dear Sir:
The enclosed letter from Hon. B. S. Grossoup
is sent to you by direction of the President, who
states that he has great confidence in him, and de-
sires sent to Mr. . Grosscup the full charges about
Cole.
The President would like to be advised if Mr.
Hugh C. Phillips can properly be appointed as Reg-
ister of the Land Office at Vancouver.
