WASHINGTON
July 22, 1949
Dear Hinie:
I appreciated your letter of the twentieth very
much and I hope our friend Irving comes out
all right. He has been having considerable
trouble with his Secretary and I am sorry for
that for I recommended his Secretary to him,
laboring under the impression that a man of
experience would do him some good.
I am glad you had a chance to meet Jesse
Donaldson - he is a grand fellow.
I am also happy to hear that Alex Sachs is
doing all right.
Sincerely yours,
Honorable Edgar G. Hinde
