OFFICE OF DIVISION ORDNANCE OFFICER Headquarters 35th Division American Expeditionary Forces 26th Uctober 1918 From : Acting Division Ordnance Officer, 35th Division To : Commanding General, 35th Division Subject : Commendation for Battery D, 129th Field Artillery 1. The Commanding Officer of the 110th M. 0. R. S. reports that he has just completed the overhauling of all the field pieces of the 128th and 129th Field Artillery. He states that the materiol of Battery D, 129th Field Artillery, was found to be in a. most excellent condition; he states that the materiel of this organization was in superior condition to that of any other battery of the two regiments, and evidenced the fact that unusual care had been exercised by the commissioned and enlisted personnel of this battery, resulting in the highest state of efficieney in the care of its ordnance materiel. 2.
