Subj ect:Reoommendation
1. In view of your having applied for a Commission in the
Regular Arny, I take pleasure in recommending you for same.
2. You have served throughout the Operations of the 129th
Field Artillery from August 18th to the present date Aoting
Adjutent of the and Battalion. Your service in that capacity has
been nost eatisfactory. You have pesformed all duties in an
efficient and capable manner. You have alwaye been willing and
cheerful. You have exihibited goad technioal ability as well as
taot and resoursefulness. Your duties have been those normally
performed by a Captain and I consider you well fitted to hold the
rank of Captain in the Regular Army.
3. Your relatione pereonally with me have been most pless-
ant and I regret sincerely that I am now loseing you sa Adjutant.
