Have been dragging in Senate on Tidelands Bill. Is also working on military pay bill. ACHESON Sent tripartite reply last week to Soviet note. In Egypt we are dead center between Egyptians and British. In Cashmere we also have a tough stituation in respect to Paki- stan. We also have trouble in Tunis and Trieste. FOSTER Have new tests of aircraft performance which are encouraging. MCGRATH Is opposed to Newbold Morris questionnaire as a violation of per- sonal rights. BRANNAN Agriculture now has 3 differentinvestigations going-one Senate - one House and one by the G. A. 0. TOBIN It has been reported President will wipe out the Walsh-Healy Act.
