March 6, 1947 82-7 My dear Mr. Forman: I have for acknowledgment your letter of recent date and sincerely regret that it is not possible to do as you ask. So many requests for autographs are being received that if the President were to attempt to comply with them he would have little time left for his manifold official duties.
