My dear Dr. McCluer:
Your letter has brought me the greatest
satisfaction and I an sorry that I have been so
long in thanking you for it, but these crowded days
keep me pressed for time. I cannot tell you how
helpful it is to have assurances of confidence and
consendation such as you give, and I am especially
grateful to you for writing to me as you did.
Very sincerely yours,
(Sgd) HARRY S. TRUMAN
Dr. F. Lé MeCluer, XA
