He said he fully understood the desire of President Truman to confer with Congressional leaders. of the newly organized Congress before discussing with him various Philippine problems. President Quirino, in general, seemed well satisfied President Truman's message and spoke of it as "fine". I do not believe any further request will be made at this time.
