PERSONAL AND SECRET
Thank you for your telegram concerning the
appointment of Lieutenant General Sir William Morgan.
I
agree that it should not be necessary to designate a
personal representative of the Prime Minister on military
matters after Field Marshal Lord Wilson leavegliashington.
I shall be sorry to see Lord Wilson leave, for he has been
of great help to us both, but it will be & pleasure to
welcome General Morgan next April.
