On 30 October, U.N. aircraft under FEAF control flew 431 sorties, including 141 combat, 242 transport, 5 reconnaissance, and 42 T-6 fighter- control. The fighter-bomber effort included 40 close support sorties to ROK Forces, 55 to the U. S. I Corps, and 37 to the U.S. X Corps. (FEAF) (SECRET) g. FEAF Combat Cargo Command on 30 October airlifted 1,214 tons into Korea, including 832 tons to Pyongyang, 77 tons to Wonsan, and 220 tons to Sinanju. The Sinanju lift included 100 tons of ammunition. (FEAF)(SECRET) h. On 1 November, 25 B=29's will be dispatched to attack marshalling yards and communications targets in the Chongjin and Kanggye areas; also fourteen light bombers, of the 43 combat-ready, and 241 fighters, of the 248 combat-ready, will be employed.
