ACN January 9, 1958 AIR MAIL Mr. John Eppstein Secretary General Atlantic Treaty Association Benjamin Franklin House 36 Craven Street London, W.C.2., England Dear John: This letter has to do with proposals of Mr. de Rochefort. I have very little to add to my previous communications excepting to attach a copy of a letter written to the American Council on NATO by Lewis K. Gough, who, as you may know, is a very prominent Ameri- can who has long been concerned with veterans affairs. I still am unable to predict how much support Mr. de Rochefort will be able to amass, Furthermore, I agree with you that the proposals of Mr. Hofgren are much more promising and much more closely related to our real concerns. Sincerely yours, (Sgd.) Ralph C. M. Flynt Ralph C. M. Flynt Chairman Atlantic Treaty Association Enclosure CC: Mr. White RCMFlynt/mb
