AIR MAIL
Mr. John Eppstein
Secretary General
Atlantic Treaty Association
Benjamin Franklin House
36 Craven Street
London, W.C.2., England
Dear John:
This letter has to do with proposals of Mr. de
Rochefort. I have very little to add to my previous
communications excepting to attach a copy of a letter
written to the American Council on NATO by Lewis K.
Gough, who, as you may know, is a very prominent Ameri-
can who has long been concerned with veterans affairs.
I still am unable to predict how much support
Mr. de Rochefort will be able to amass, Furthermore,
I agree with you that the proposals of Mr. Hofgren are
much more promising and much more closely related to
our real concerns.
Sincerely yours,
(Sgd.) Ralph C. M. Flynt
