Kansas City, Missouri
August 16, 1938
Honorable Samuel W. Honaker
American Consul General
Stuttgart, Germany
Dear Mr. Honaker:
Referring to your letter of May Twenty-
fourth regarding the visa case of Walter Rudolph
Otto Klemm, this young man's father, Mr. Otto
Klemm of this city, called at my office the other
day, seeking my further assistance in his efforts
to have his son admitted to this country.
Mr. Klemm asks that, since the last
physical examination of the young man was made on
January 7, 1935, another examination be performed
by the medical officer of the United States Public
Health Service in the near future. He believes
that his son's comdition may have improved to such
a degree that he will be admissible to the United
States.
If this can be arranged, I will appreciate
it very much.
Sincerely yours,
Harry S. Truman
