Vice - President - Elect Harry S.
Truman, who admitted he was SO
busy he forgot he was invited to
the last meeting of the Military
Order of the World Wars a month
ago, was in attendance yesterday
at the annual Armistice day lunch-
eon at the Kansas City Club. He
was busy again yesterday and de-
parted after saying a few words
following the meal.
The speaker at the luncheon was
Maj. A. T. Netterblad, jr., from Ft.
Riley, where he is an instructor in
the mechanized cavalry school. He
related his experiences as com-
mander of the 3rd mechanized cav-
aley troop of the 3rd infantry di-
vision in the European theater. E
