Z: Two things on the Wilson press conference. They said Wilson
the Atlantic Council. It's a policy of NATO, Her Majesty's Government,
and the U.S. Government. (Z then quoted a long excerpt). When I am asked
about that, I will say we are working with NATO allies on the troop reductions.
That it's all in the communique from Brussels. Right?
K: Right
Z: So far the Soviets
K: Say that on balanced force reductions there is a study and we are
participating. It will be completed in April.
Z: The U.S. position is to consider this. We are interested in negotiations
that will have results. If this can be done, then we are for it. Right?
K: Right
Z: Nigeria
K: They will say that after the blacks have had another chance at cutting
each other down they will then have a chance at the whites. And its a tradgedy.
Z" On the Middle East, I will say that the statement the other day was
consistent with our position. We will? ??????? arms. We are going
to
continue studying it. Am I doing all right?
K: You are after my job.
