The real threat to the Republican party is the county chairman
who claims that he has everything well in hand This only means that
he is not doing any work and doesn't propose to.
Despite the quarreling that went on at the Democratic convention,
the evidence seems to indicate the Democrate did a better job of closing
ranks and winning back some of the voters who strayed from the fold in
1952, than the Republicans did.
