SWITZERLAND IS A CENTRAL COMMUNICATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION HUB BETWEEN THE MIDDLE EAST (ESPECIALLY IRAN) AND WESTERN EUROPE, AND BETWEEN VARIOUS WESTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, AND THEREFORE HAS AN EXTRA REASON FOR VIGILANCE AND COOPERATION.
