BARKER 763 BROAD STREET, NEWARK N.U JAMES E.M.TAMS BURTIS S. HORNER December 12, 1925. UNITES @TATES A. Roeder, President, RAMIUM SORP. U.S. Radium Corporation, 30 Church St., New York City. Dear Mr. Roeder, I have your letter of the 10th inst. enclosing copy of Dr. Hoffman's letter, which I am herewith returning, to- gether with a suggested reply. I am inclined to advise you against asking Miss Schaub to call on Dr. Flinn because Dr. Flinn is known as having been retained by you and anything that he may say to her would undoubtedly be regarded by her with suspicion. Both she and Dr. Hoffman would probably regard such a sug- gestion as an. effort on our part to, in some way, impose upon the girl. There is nothing that you can do which would be effective in stopping the agitation on the part of Miss Wiley, Knef and others. In my judgment, it would be worse than useless to attempt to stop them. While the suggested reply to Dr. Hoffman is very brief, I am inclined to believe that the less said to him the better. Yours very truly, Enc. businesspe
