535 Pearl Street
New York, New York
Dear Mr. Lee:
Your letter of January 19th which was
promptly received did not seem to require an immediate
answer. I am glad to know that you expect to be in
Chicago about the middle of this month, and I am writing
now to remind you that you have promised to let me know
when to expect you. It goes without saying that I shall
be most happy to see you when you are here.
Doubtless when we get together we shall
want to talk over the Mesothorium situation. I may say
that we have twenty kilos of quite pure Barium Bromide
which probably contains in the neighborhood of forty
milligrams of Mesothorium. This you will note is pretty
high grade material, running about two milligrams of
Meso per kilo. We are, of course, holding this until
you know more about what you want to do. In the meantime
we are, of course, saving our Meso residues as heretofore
and will continue to hold them until you have had ample
time to know whether you can make use of it.
I am looking forward with much pleasure
towards seeing you before long and shall hope to hear
from you soon.
Yours very truly,
Herbark me by
