Dear Dr. Moore:
We appreciate that your teip to Berlin
caused you considerable inconvenience, and I am sorry
to learn that it prevented your attending the French
Societe Industrielle at Strasbourg. However, we wish
to assure you that we appreciate your endeavors in our
behalf and realize very well that such work cannot be
conducted without involving expense.
We shall be glad. to get any further
information that becomes available abroad.
Dr. Schlundt left New York on September
2nd, for a week's vacation in the Horthern part of
Michigan, which he felt he needed, and I think he was
correct. I haités vew lines from him the other day
saying that he had a restful as well as very enjoyable
geek's stay there.
