FIRST AVENUE AND 28th STREET
NEW YORK

April 12, 1929.
Mr. H.H. Barker,
U.S. Radium Corp.,
APR 13 1929
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
My dear Mr. Barker:
I enclose a few small bills from Miss Katherine
Schaub, Sacred Heath Villa, Cauldwell, N.J. The Drug Store bills
should be paid to Miss Schaub. Dr. Abel's bill should be sent to him.
Miss. Schaub seems to think that the Company might
be willing to stand part of the expenses of her living out of the City.
I do not see how the Commission at present can recommend such an
arrangement. She states that she is much better in the country than
in the city, and would run up hospital bills if she went back to the
city. I will write her and ask for a definite statement as to the
additional expense she incurs by living in the country instead of in
the city, but will not encourage her to think that she can receive any
additional aid from your Company.
Sincerelt yours
paining
,
James Ewing.
