Dr. R. B. Moore,
Purdue University,
Lafayette, Indiana
Dear Dr. Moore:
Your wire came in just a few minutes after I had
talked with you this morning.
It is my belief that it will be satisfactory for
you to arrive in Newark at 12:50 'clock, in case it is necessary
that we will need you earlier we will advise you by wire.
We will wire you Monday or Tuesday the Court in
which these cases will be uttod. The best thing for you to do
would be to take a taxi from the station in Newark at which you
arrive - that is either Market Street or Park Place, directly
to the Court building. The caseswill be tried in Judge Fake's
Court.
We are herewith enclosing check for $200.00 as a
reteiner fee, which as we understand it will be applied toward
fee for your services in case we require you to come East.
Assuring you that we appreciate your cooperation,
we are
Sincerely yours,
Vice President.
