March 22nd,1930 Dr. R. B. Moore, Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana Dear Dr. Moore: Your wire came in just a few minutes after I had talked with you this morning. It is my belief that it will be satisfactory for you to arrive in Newark at 12:50 'clock, in case it is necessary that we will need you earlier we will advise you by wire. We will wire you Monday or Tuesday the Court in which these cases will be uttod. The best thing for you to do would be to take a taxi from the station in Newark at which you arrive - that is either Market Street or Park Place,directly to the Court building. The caseswill be tried in Judge Fake's Court. We are herewith enclosing check for $200.00 as a reteiner fee, which as we understand it will be applied toward fee for your services in case we require you to come East.
