Dr. S. C. Lind,
University of Minnesota,
Minneapolis, Minn.
Dear Dr. Lind:
lie wired you at the Hotel Cleveland today, as
follows:
"LAPORTE CASE DEFINITELY POSEPONED OCTOBER
FIFTEENTH OR LATER"
In all likelihood, the LaPorte case will not
come up on October 15th, as we are advised that the Court
has some criminal actions to adjudicate at that time. Tle
do, however, anticipate that the case will have to go to
trial somo time between October 15th and November 15th, and
the present disposition of the Court is to the effect that
the-next date which is set will have to be adhered to.
As soon as we know this date definitely, we
shall commicate with you and earnestly hope you will be
available at that time.
With kind regards, I an,
Sincorely yours,
HHBarkerg.DK
