Mr. C. B. Lee, President
United States Radium Corporation
535 Pearl Street
New York City
Dear Mr. Lee:
In your letter of December 6 you stated that you had no
information regarding the agreement between the Belgian and the
Canadian Companies.
In a report issued by the Bureau of Mines of the Department
of Mines and Resources of Canada in March, 1939, I find the state-
ment "An agreement was recently reported as reached between the
Eldorado and Belgian companies for sharing world sales on a basis
of 40 per cent by the former and 60 per cent by the latter, the
agreement to run for a term of 5 years; the price level is not
divulged."
I would also like to discuss with you some of the questions
that arise in the radium industry and hope that I may have an
opportunity to see you sometime in the not too distant future.
Do you ever get out as far as Chicago? If so, it would not be
inconvenient for you to run on up to Minneapolis.
With best regards and Season's Greetings.
Cordially yours,
S.l. Lind.
