Letter from I. H. Morse, New York, [N.Y.], to William Lloyd Garrison, M[ar]ch 26 / [18]79
I. H. Morse writes William Lloyd Garrison to appraise him that Mr. Frothingham will be going abroad for "rest and recreation", and expects to be away for a "year or more". Morse states that the trustees of Frothingham's Society have decided to hold a "Social Reception" in his honor, and that the Committee of Arrangements has directed him to invite Garrison to be the Society's "special guest" for the reception.
