Source Description
This image from Walters manuscript W.106 depicts a scene from the story of Joseph. Joseph's brothers betrayed him and sold him to a group of Ishmaelites, who then sold him in Egypt. Joseph rose fast, becoming Pharaoh's most trusted advisor. Joseph, handsome and successful, refused the advances of Pharaoh's wife.

Joseph said that this does not frighten him because he believed in God and she not at all and she did not fear treason to their Lord. She cried out [and] said that Joseph stole her by force.
