My dear Mr. President: I am taking the liberty of sending you a little volume Macmillan's has just published for me. It is entitled "Behold Thy Mother". Both of my sons are in the service, and I searched for a book that might carry a significant message on Mothers' Day, a message of strength, but free from sentimentalism.
