MEMORANDUM OF CONVERSATION WITH THE PRESIDENT
Item 1. Conversation with the Korean Ambassador
I left with the President Mr. Rusk's memorandum of his
conversation with the Korean Ambassador and also the letter
which the Korean Ambassador had written to us. I asked
the President at his convenience to look through these and
said that we were suggesting some message from
the President which capitalize upon the large degree of
cooperation expressed by the Ambassador.
