My dear Friends:
This will acknowledge the receipt of
your letter of recent date. In reply, I regret
very much that 1t is not possible to send you
the President's autograph. He is 80 busy these
days with urgent official duties that it has
become necessary for him to ask to be excused
from complying with the innumerable requests
for his signature.
However, I know the President would
want me to thank you for your friendly interest
and send to Class 4A his very best wishes.
