April 18, 1947 82-7 My dear Mrs. Flowers: Thank you, on behalf of the President, for your letter of April thirteenth, with enclosures. Because of the extremely heavy pressure upon the President's time, it is utterly impossible for him to reply personally to the many messages and notes being received. However, I do want you to know that he appreciates your friendly thought of him and heartily reciprocates your good wishes. Very sincerely yours, MATTHEW J. CONNELLY Secretary to the President Mrs. Boulah C. Flowers, 17 North McLean Boulevard, Memphis, Tennesses. vb x144-A,7
