SAC has decided only two thousand are acceptable and no more. TROMAN Alexander also rejected YUGO proposal that groups the ARCHIVES AND SERVICEN RECORDS NATIONAL comprising detachment of the two thousand be stationed in Gorizia, Monfalcone, Trieste and other locations. In accordance with basic agreement signed at Belgrade, SAC has reserved right to determine where YUGO detachment will be stationed and size of detachments. Subjoct to recom- mendations of local BRIT commanders SAC is propared to con- sider YUGO wishes sympathetically and his decisions as to disposition and size of YUGO detachments will depend en- tirely on situation in area and conduct and attitude of YUGO forçes. YUGOS are to be informed that SAC retains complete freedom of action in this matter. Re YUGO proposals for adjustment: SAC has rejected proposal
