The receipt is acknowledged of your letter
of 25 September on the Manhatten problem.
Upon Mr. Byrnes' return I shall talk with
him in an endeavor to inform myself in regard to
your present thoughts on the problem.
Later I shall be very pleased to discuss
the problem with you at a time and place that is
convenient to both of us.
