R. 4186 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SEPTEMBER 25, 1945 Mr. BELL introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Com- mittee on Ways and Means A BILL To provide for covering into the treasury of the Philippines certain Philippine funds in the Treasury of the United States. 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 3 That, notwithstanding any other provision of law, the pro- 4 ceeds of the excise taxes imposed by section 2470 of the 5 Internal Revenue Code, and of the import taxes imposed 6 by sections 2490 and 2491 of the Internal Revenue Code, 7 heretofore or hereafter collected, which but for the enact- 8 ment of this Act would have been required to be held in 9 separate or special funds and paid into the treasury of the
