Mr. BELL introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Com-
mittee on Ways and Means
A BILL
To provide for covering into the treasury of the Philippines
certain Philippine funds in the Treasury of the United
States.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 That, notwithstanding any other provision of law, the pro-
4 ceeds of the excise taxes imposed by section 2470 of the
5 Internal Revenue Code, and of the import taxes imposed
6 by sections 2490 and 2491 of the Internal Revenue Code,
7 heretofore or hereafter collected, which but for the enact-
8 ment of this Act would have been required to be held in
9 separate or special funds and paid into the treasury of the
