April 27, 1948 Dear Governor: Admiral Leahy handed me your letter of the twenty-second in regard to the Island of Vieques. I shall be glad to look into this carefully and I hope it can be worked out to the satisfaction of the inhabitants of the Island and to your satisfaction.
