Dear Mr. Ambassador:
I can't tell you how very
much I appreciate your good letter of the fourth,
enclosing me a brief history of Uruguay. It is
exactly what I want and gives me the information
in which I am interested.
That little Republic must
be a remarkable country and it certainly has been
through all the experiences that create a free
people.
