1. Weather:
Generally good in all areas. Visibility 7 miles except in
battle area. Temperatures 50 to 75 degrses F. Forecast: Broken
high and middle clouds in east and northeast, good in the rest of Korea.
Visibility 10 miles except in battle area. (FEAF) (SECRET)
2. Enemy Situation:
Repeated enemy attacks were made against ROK units in the
eastern sectors, and hostile pressure increased against US and ROK forces
in the east central zone from Hangye to Hajinbu. Hostile elements offered
light to moderate rear-guard resistance against UN forces from Chunchon

3. United Nations Situation:
GROUND:
a. General: The III ROK Corps was preparing for in-
activation, as one division was dispersed by an enemy attack and another
friendly division's command post was over-run. Adjacent ROK units
were reassembling and adjusting positions. Steady UN advances continued
in other sectors, with gains up to 5 miles made by 1st ROK Division units
in reaching the Imjin River north of Munsan. (FECOM) (SECRET)
