1. Weather:
Multi-layered clouds over all Korea. Visibility ranged from
3 miles in rain to 10 miles. Forecast: Scattered high, middle, and
low clouds over all Korea. Visibility 6 to 8 miles. (FEAF) (SECRET)
2. Enemy Situation:
Hostile resistance decreased somewhat, but enemy groups con-
tinued small-scale probing attacks against friendly positions in each
sector. An estimated 900 rounds of enemy mortar and artillery fire
fell on 1st US Cavalry Division patrols in the western sector. Air
observed 1, 041 enemy vehicles, of which 631 were southbound.

a. General: Friendly units continued to probe enemy de-
fenses along the front, engaging or observing numerous small hostile
