1. Weather:
Broken to overcast middle and high clouds over the entire area
with broken low clouds along the west coastal areas. Visibility 8 miles
lowering to 3 to 5 miles in rain. Forecast: Scattered low clouds with
scattered to broken middle and high clouds. Visibility 3 to 5 miles in
haze decreasing 1 to 3 miles in rain. Temperatures 63 to 88 degrees F.

2. Enemy Situation:
Hostile activity was limited to small-unit resistance to friendly patrols
and a total of 5 small probing attacks near Kumhwa and northeast of Yanggu.
Air observed an enemy regiment dug-in 8 miles northwest of Pyonggang. A
total of 2111 vehicles were sighted, of which 928 were southbound. (FECOM)

3. United Nations Situation:
GROUND:
a. General: Friendly units repulsed all hostile probing attacks
and made gains up to 3 miles in a limited objective attack south of Kumsong,
in the central sector. Other UN advance elements continued patrolling. The
Ethiopian Battalion moved from Pusan to the vicinity of Kapyong and was
attached to the 7th US Infantry Division. (FECOM) (SECRET)
