1. Weather:
Scattered high and middle clouds over all Korea with broken low
clouds along the west coast. Visibility 6 miles. Forecast: Scattered
high and middle clouds with overcast low clouds. Visibility 6 miles.

2g Enemy Situation:
Hostile activity increased somewhat, as several battalion-size
attacks were made on UN positions in the east-central and eastern
sectors, with numerous smaller scale attacks elsewhere. An unidentified
aircraft strafed friendly positions 7 miles east and 10 miles southeast of
Chorwon. (FECOM) (SECRET)
3. United Nations Situation:
GROUND:
a. General: Friendly units patrolled against platoon to company
strength resistance across the front and repulsed numerous hostile attacks.
British elements launched a limited attack across the Imjin River and
encountered company size enemy groups. The Turkish Brigade moved
from the Seoul area to assembly positions south of Chorwon. (FECOM)
