1. Weather:
Multilayered clouds over all Korea with ceilings ranging from
1000 to 3000 feet. Visibility 6 miles lowering to 1 to 3 miles in rain.
Forecast: No change in weather expected, Visibility 6 miles lower-
ing to 1 mile in rain. (FEAF) (SECRET)
2. Enemy Situation:
Hostile groups probed friendly lines at numerous points, forc-
ing withdrawal of friendly observation posts across the Imjin River,
but were repulsed elsewhere. An enemy minefield was encountered
north of Yanggu in the east-central sector and a moderate amount of
artillery fire continued to be received in this same area. (FECOM)

GROUND
a General: UN forces continued aggressive patrolling,
and attacking forces in the X US Corps made gains up to three miles
