j. Following were bombarded with unobserved results: troop areas,
villages, RR and highway bridges, gun positions, ammunition factory, and
other enemy targets. (COMNAVFE) (SECRET)
AIR:
K. On 10 January, UN aircraft under FEAF control (less USMC) flew
263 sorties. Seventy-two combat sorties were flown, of which 4 were by RAAF.
All UN aircraft under FEAF control flew 13 close support, 19 armed recon-
naissance, 17 counter air, and 43 night intruder sorties. The 315th Air Divi-
sion flew 143 sorties, airlifting 2, 797 passengers, 64 evacuees, and 203 tons
of freight. (FEAF) (SECRET)
1. Bomber Command flew 14 effective sorties: 9 Shoran bombed Song-
chon West RR by-pass bridge; 4 MPQ-2 bombed front-line targets east of
