Weather: Multilayered clouds with 1, 000 feet ceiling. Visibility 3-5 roiles in rain and snow. West coast clear by 1500 (KT). Broken low clouds, low ceilings, snow shower and poor visibility continued on the east coast. Maximum battle area temperature 35 degrees, minimum 20 degrees. Forecast: Clear with occasional scattered low clouds over all Korea. Maximum battle area temperature 30 degrees, minimum 10 degrees. (FEAF) (SECRET) 2. Enemy Situation: Enemy activity continued to be heavy on the east-central sector. In this sector, enemy groups of up to 100 in strength fired on friendly positions, several probes up to platoon strength were reported, and moderate artillery and mortar fire was directed against UN forces. Elsewhere, light probing attacks were reported on the west and west-central sectors and no activity was reported on the eastern sector. The adjusted total of vehicle sightings for 12-13 February is 213, of which 140 were southbound. (FECOM) (SECRET) 3. United Nations Situation: ARMY: a. General; The activity of UN forces was limited to inter- cepts of enemy patrols and repulsing enemy probing attacks. The action against enemy forces which had previously attacked friendly positions on the east-central front continues.
