1. Weather:
There were scattered high clouds over north and central Korea, with
scattered low clouds during the late afternoon. Visibility lowered to 1 to
3
miles in the valleys during the morning. Maximum battle area temperature
40 degrees, minimum 20. Forecast: Scattered middle and low clouds be-
coming broken to overcast, with rain and snow in the north. Visibility 2 to
4 miles in precipitation. (FEAF) (SECRET)
2. Enemy Situation:
Enemy activity was confined to patrol intercepts, with the exception
of a squad-strength probe against friendly forces on the east-central sector.
Light artillery fire was directed against several UN divisions. This fire
included a. number of airbursts with propaganda leaflets. The adjusted
total of vehicle sightings for the period 26-27 February is 549, of which
323 were southbound. (FECOM) (SECRET)

United Nations Situation:
ARMY:
a. General: Action along the UN front consisted of patrol
clashes. The 7th Regiment of the 3d US Division has assumed control of the
Belgian and Philippine Battalions. Elements of the Greek Battalion relieved
elements of the 15th Regiment of the 3d US Division in positions northwest
